Only the first game I know and against 'average' opposition but there was a distinct change in the playing formation. Not sure if it will hold up with the rigours of that league but there was some good football played.

Phillips looks good but I do cringe at him at times. He's a red card waiting to happen. Thought the chap who came on as sub, Anita, and played left back looked assured. Interesting to know how they are going to fit Pontus will fit in given Cooper and Penningtons performance. Liked the look of Aliosky as well. Gives Wood a much needed partner the way he plays. O'Kane is another that with a few games under his belt might show promise.

The negatives. Sorry Roofe you are two light weight fro me. You can't have Roofe and Hernandez in the same team. It's a luxury in this league. And as for Sacko! Oh dear.

But overall there was a lot of promise. We shall see. We are Leeds remember

Keeper looked very iffy, get Green back in.

Anita looked ok, got better the more he got into the game.

I like Roofe, got the cross in from no where for Woods goal.

CB's held up well against some big lads.

Alioski (?) promising.

Sack Sacko, total waste.

Just watched the highlights of Wednesday night's game. OK, it was league 2 opposition but seeing new players playing with some belief and desire is a good thing to see. Yes, we did have that last season too but it's refreshing to see it on our new young players.  Usually second game of the season we are wondering how the journey men players that we have signed or been loaned are going to fair. We seem to have youth and a sprinkling of flair for a change.
