|PL - Table after fixtures of 7/5/17.
Please check (and, errr, let me know, like!) for errors and omissions. Remember, as both a twenty year bond holding Leeds fan and a New England Patriots season ticket holder, I'm barely human and the stresses and strains of both literally and figuratively using my cranium to enter your incredibly well-considered scores isn't always as accurate as it might be. Oh, and it hurts too.
Table is in format:- poster/previous total/weekly score/new total/status.

Few of us remembered that teams facing the prospect of impending relegation often experience a "dead cat" bounce in their final game - the case in point here being that all three of the teams in the frame for the third drop spot from the Championship managed to win. This didn't help Blackburn much though as they fell through the trap door on goal difference to Forest, a team they'd beaten home and away and that had lost four more games to boot. Shame, eh?!
In the PL world, Espaņablanco73 (OExO) continued his impressive end-of-season run in with twelve points out of the available twenty-four. Too bad another white team couldn't have done something similar, eh?
Belper69Ram (xxOE), Dalek (xxOE), Davee59 (xxOE), Hgatenasty (xxOE), Lufc74 (OxOO) and Pilgrimwhite (OxOO) scored nine points to share the second weekly spot. Seagulls to Spanner's magpie.
Nasty's lead has doubled (again) to a Silvestri over Stompy, with Silentman a Peacock-Farrell back in third.
No Newbies, but there were a few Strikers.
There were no draws, so any Strike One, Strike Two or Strike Three posters scored nowt for their total lack of effort and Johnny_Default remains on one hundred and thirty-eight points for the season.
(C) Brentford v Blackburn (1-3)
(C) Bristol City v Birmingham City (0-1)
(C) Nottingham Forest v Ipswich Town (3-0)
(L2) Colchester United v Yeovil Town (2-01)
The next set of fixtures is out as a separate thread.
