Looking forward to this, though I've gone and caught a crappy headcold just in time. †Fresh air won't harm, I'm sure.

Anyway, there is a chance I will have a spare ticket for the match. †Sorry I won't know until v late on though - like 6pm - but if anyone is interested, please let me know.

0 - 5 loss!!!

However, last season 25/10/10 we lost 0-4 to Cardiff then went on a points spree - time for a repeat performance boys!

Keeper subbed after 59 mins, not injured. We've been shit without Lonergan, and what's happened to midfield enforcer Michael Brown?

They shoot goalkeepers, don't they?

Have you still got that ticket?

If so thank god. Someone has been spared

Judging from some of the comments on TSB there's a vigilante posse on the way to Thorp Arch as we speak

Wasn't Rachubka going to be our permanent Number 1 at one point (no pun intended!)?  Didn't Larry say something along the lines that he was a good keeper/safe pair of hands etc?!!!

Don't know what happened to Michael Brown - maybe he's stuck in the US snow with Grind?

I think this was a bit of a one-off. Three goals and a sending off down to one guy. Leicester on Sunday will be interesting. They are about as consistent as we are.

No idea who will play in goal though. Assume Grayson is looking. Anyone with a pair of goalkeeping gloves can apply.

Like with me and the Ramones fate has conspired to keep Leeds and Blackpool apart for several decades. When they are here we are there and when we are here, they are there. Sometimes madam fate knows what she is doing but something was bound to ignite on Wednesday and in my unswerving naivety I thought it would be us. That feeling could not cut through the midweek blues though as we crawled along the M62 with low key conversation.

We kicked off attacking the south stand or defending the Kop end if you prefer and our old friend Stephen Crainney made a forceful headed interception to announce his return in front of the terrific Blackpool support at the far end of the West Stand. Blackpool broke and attacked with speed only thwarted by a Kisnorbo interception and by Aidy Whites persistence on their next forage. Nothing other than a wayward shot halted the third attack as they cut through our right side with ease. The visitors dominated the very early stages pinging the ball around with quick movement.

We slowly got into the game down our right before wasting possession with Blackpool hitting us on the break but Rachubka was out quick to smother. A free kick wickedly curled in by Snoddy saw their keeper fumble causing mild panic but we couldnít convert the rebound. Another free kick followed but Blackpool cleared and broke themselves cutting through our right channel hitting a harmless shot that Rachubka could only parry to their striker who found the empty net for 0-1 just as we were getting into the game. Could the keeper have done better twatnav asked, dead right was the resounding response from pie man and me as we have all seen his shoddy performances since stepping in.

Our response from the re start was an over elaborate Howson pass followed by a good one but we were caught offside in what is becoming a depressing trait in our attacking play lately. Mccormak tried to break out left but was caught by a late tackle. We continued the possession before wasting it and then recovering with a great tackle that the referee incredibly awarded a foul for . This led to a deflected cross that fell into Rachubkas arms who somehow spilled it straight to the attacker. Worse was to follow, the recovering Lees got his hand in the way of ball and conceded a penalty to make it 0-2 and was sent off very very harshly I thought again just as we were getting back into the game. It was game over though now. The murmurs about the keeper were now volleys of abuse and anger.

From the restart Kisnorbo compounded the lack of confidence by refusing to give him a back pass. Moments later boos rang out when he did receive a pass and corkscrewed his clearance wayward. I cringed.

Another fumble followed by the shot to pieces keeper and we were 3-0 down. The volley turned into a cavalcade of anger as chants of off off off erupted. It was incredible, one of those pieces of unique football madness we seem to be blessed with at Leeds United. Another back pass came and clearly in some distress he sliced the ball wide. Support your team or fuck off home came the chant and the atmosphere turned to a resigned neutrality but the game was finished as I suspect Rachubka is at the club.

McCormack tried cutting in and curling a shot but it went over the bar. Polite clapping limped out of the kop for the keeperís next touch and Howson produced a show boating cross filed pass as the half came to an end.

Finally we found a fan who can actually kick a football for the half time challenge. Only the width of the post came between him and a thousand pounds. He ran back into the kop to chants of sign him up.

Inevitabley Grayson had changed the keeper and brought Becchio on as the teams came out for the second half. We started the half with an intensity not shown in the first. Howson was bursting through centrally and McCormak tried a chipped lob as we tried to salvage something. Ironic cheers rang out as the keeper made a determined and forceful kicked clearance for his first touch. We overhit a free kick but continued to press before conceding to the inevitable counter attack and a great finish to make it 0-4 as hundreds left the Kop. The Blackpool fans of course were delighted, going through their repertoire of freshly learnt songs they picked up from their metaphorical day trip to the Premier seaside. †Still we persisted, McCormack tried to get on the end of a through ball but just failed and the Kop livened up a tad for some abusive nepotism aimed at Tom Ince as he came on. Before long it was 0-5. I canít even remember the goal, the game had ceased to be registered as we briefly contemplated other crushing defeats and wondered if this was the worst? It was bizarre and quite sensational. I have been inundated with comments and discussions all week right up to last night with the Town fans of course laughing at the contribution made by their ex keeper. We actually left ten minutes from the end as we completed our risk assessment of missing an extraordinary comeback. The conclusion was somewhat unlikely. We listened to the radio on the way home and heard a few fans actually making some good points and Grayson suggesting he may have a look into the market and see what keepers are around. Meanwhile Rachubka can be assured he will never have to buy another drink in Huddersfield ever again

sounds like a nightmare.

I've never walked out of a game early, but would probaby have made an exception in this case.

Feel sorry for the goalie. Who's going to want to sign him after that.

Mind you, I remember G Mc taking Mikalic off at half time at MK Dons and he's still hoofing balls round Div 1.
