What can I do to help Mick ?

No idea, I tried doing what PM suggested, phoning my councillor earlier but didn't get through. I've put it up the facebook group but I'll have to tell people it's there.

I can't get too side-tracked and need to concentrate on making sure that HMV know that it's up on their stystem and they can put it on the shelves now. I've done no press yet, so I need to nuture the Ee Po (coming round on Tuesday) YEP, Rad Leeds etc etc. Try and get more outlets. Touch up/double proof book before get more stock - I've got 11 copies left. Put it to my printer that the more discount they give me the more books I'll print. Make sure it's visible in Waterstone's. Try and get some near the Uni for when it goes in Leeds Student etc et etc.

Got to be a flogging machine not a one issue angry man.

Fair enough, good thinking.

Why don't you tell the students in Leeds that their fees wouldn't be going up if the council agreed to a sensible deal on this book.

Soz, can I pay them for you please SBC?

Had a word with my councillor this morning who is going to 'kick some butt' but I then sent her a copy of my rant which may have put her off.

Have you thought about touting them to the posher hotels in the area?

They often have small gift shops selling local items.

That's another fantastic idea PM.

I had looked as I walked passed Quebec House that's in it and thought hmmmmm but not all the posh hotels, great idea.

Time and energy, but that's defo on the 'to do' list.

Amazon are saying only 1 left in stock

It's interesting the way it works on amazon, it's building up strength now. When it first sold it'll have fallen, very quickly if it wasn't bought for an hour, now it's taking longer to go down and sales will gradually take it up higher.

If Nailed and COAABFILYE both sold ten copies over the next couple of days, COAABFILYE would go much higher and stay higher for longer, because it's had much better sales in the past.

I need it to come properly into stock as well now, with bits of press coming up. It orders copies as they sell but at some point it should recognise that it's turning over and order an amount that gets ahead of the sales. At one point over the weekend there 4 in stock so next 'bulk' order should go up.
