Indeed and what, now with the rise of mobile phones to give you the time there is no need for that troublesome sleeve clearing movement.

Bought or indeed knowingly  listened to

Bat Out Of Hell, Meat Loaf
Rumours, Fleetwood Mac
Hotel California, The Eagles
Any Album by Yes, Genesis  or their derivative solo acts

Had more than one plate of food in an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Owned a K-Tel record.

Ridden a motorbike.

Said: "I'll just have a half".

Visited an island just off mainland Britain that is still in the UK eg Isle of Skye or Isle of Wight.

Surfed.

Worn a kilt.

Understood the stupidity which enables human beings to over feed a dog to the point of it causing the dog ill health/ respiratory problems.

Visited Belgium.

Understood why somebody hasn't shot Sting.

Had or wanted a vanity registration plate. Because I'm not a tacky bastard.

Make it so Carp. Maybe you and Ben Fogle could do it as a challenge. There could be a tv series in this!

I was going to make a quip about Pontefract and fat dogs, but it would be unnessecary and unkind to the females of that locale.

I've swum to the Isle of White.

I'd probably make a bit more of this if two of my cousin's kids hadn't swum the channel.

Smug web-footed bastards.

And Brownsea island.

* With hindsight, that doesn't sound like a good stretch of water to choose. *

Bad form that yer lazy fecker! All ours are boxed and away before midday on New Years Day. Jan is a pretty flat month anyway without having Christmas decs still up when, in the final analysis, it's isn't Christmas anymore.

I can echo that - I think I was the only kid that didn't see the first (well, fourth, well, errrr whatever number it is) at the cinema when it came out, although I guess I've seen all of the others since, usually because someone else wanted to go and I like eating a bucket of popcorn - something I don't think I've ever eaten anywhere else.

Was dragged along to the latest Star Whore bobbins over the weekend.

I think the only thing that really impressed me were the (pooter generated) bits featuring Carrie Fisher and Peter Cushing. I guess you can tell if you look closely, but uncanny on first viewing.

Not the worst film ever made - but all rather pointless.

Understood why the Scottish Mountain Rescue don't tell ill-clad cretinous toursits who get stuck in the snow through sheer stupidity and lack of resecpt for the environment they are holidaying in to go fuck themselves.

parked my car so much on the pavement  that it forces a pedestrian to walk in the road around it let alone anyone pushing a pram

Cut a loaf of bread in a straight line
