Grind sees adopted lads win (effectively) SB LI s/f last night.

* Only happy chappy in a Leeds scarf this weekend? *

Makes a change from being accused of being "That bloke out of ABBA" or Mauricio Pochettino.

No-one likes Millwall either.......

Yet to see an "available" SB ticket for less than four figures.

* Sulks. *

I wouldn't pay three figures for a ticket for a sporting event. Never mind four!!!  A Cheltenham Festival day ticket is approx 70 odd quid so I suppose with regular increases I'll have to pay over 100 at some point in the future. But more than a grand? Fucking hell fire, it's not like it won't be on the telly G Man.

Pay me a monkey instead, and for that cost me and Dock Dog will recreate the tackles, fumbles, and QB throws and Skype it to you. Far better value I think you'll find.

NFL tickets aren't particularly cheap at the best of times.

I have been using a mate's season ticket here for the last four or five years and the face value for the AFC Championship game where I sit (decent enough seat - 27 rows up on the first level looking diagonally across from corner to the opposite end) was $180, which I guess is about GBP140 or so at the current exchange rate?

To put this into context, I paid GBP4k for a twenty year season ticket at ER in the kop maybe twenty rows up in line with one of the goalposts, which still has a few years to run.

* How many Superbowls have Leeds won though, eh? *

This is the view $180 would have got you for the AFC Championship game.

They do have a bit of a game "category" policy in place (much like Leeds) - I'm not entirely sure how they decide on their pricing.

I did miss a couple of games (Miami Dolphins & Houston Texans) when I was in Australia and then another (LA Rams) where the real owner selfishly decided to actually go for once and took his family, but the games I went to (and face prices) were:-

New Orleans Saints (preseason) $71
Chicago Bears (preseason) $71
Buffalo Bills (Home Game 3) $139
Cincinnati Bengals (Home Game 4) $162
Seattle Seahawks (Home Game 5) $189
Baltimore Ravens (Home Game 7) $139
NY Jets (Home Game 8) $139
Houston Texans (Divisional Play-off) $140
Pittsburgh Steelers (AFC Championship) $180

I'm scratching my head as to why the relatively meaningless Seahawks game could possibly be more than the AFC Championship final.

Especially as we lost.

I can sort of understand why their football is so expensive (there are only 8 guaranteed "real" home games), but the prices to the baseball are broadly similar, and those feckers have a bazillion fixtures.

I'm sure there are people who go to all of the Red Sox home games, but they must be trust fund managers.

You might need a larger sofa though.

Some of those lads are big units.

In all honesty, as well as the Patriots played at the end, the Falcons were idiots to throw the ball as much as they did when they could've basically run the clock out and still won by double figures.

Strange.

It will obviously go down as a great comeback win, but I saw it as tactical incompetence.

Not that I'm complaining, like.

Indeed, that made no sense to me whatsoever but it seemed funny. Tried to stay up for it but didn't have the staying power. Fell asleep during the second quarter. Jeez they stretch it out don't they. Still a great game though. Haven't got a fave team like I have in Baseball . Prolly 'cos I've never seen a live game. The Patriots seem a bit, well y'know, kinda Manu ish *dodges cross Atlantic right hook*
