Watched some of this at the pub but didn't have specs on so it was a bit blurred.

Just saw the highlights. Highlights my arse. About 10 minutes of the match followed by 20 minutes of how wonderful feckin Thierry Henri is.

I still reckon he was offside - it's quite telling they didn't show he wasn't.

Not that I'm bitter - at least this way we walk away with some pride.

For what it is worth I thought he was level and on.

Got a bit fed up with the Henry fest. Not sour grapes because he scored, expected to lose..Thought he was well ott in celebration at the end of the game.

I noticed that too, I suspected it was offside when first saw it, and then we got one chance to check and no comments whatever about it, as if the commentators believed it was not in fact a very popular striker making his re-debut and scoring the winner but in fact the unquestionable Second Coming.  FFS.

Grayson simply admitted ZT had defended poorly and the striker had finished well.

Well, that was disappointing....in the sense that last season Leeds had a go and last night they didn't. Also different last night was some demented Irishman didn't stand me up in a Hoxton pub, which was a pleasent change....

wonder how it goes with the Gibney

Never in the game were we?

Hold out and hope were the tactics and we may have got a draw with a bit of luck. Nunez, what's he about? he did absolutely double fuck all, contributed less than bearing in a good looking bloke contest.

I usually leave this section to the battered wives but I can't let that one go. Week in week out its fun to read the biased prattlings of Leeds fans on here but Henry being ott? C'mon KevKhat, I know its verboten on here to say any player who doesn't play for LUFC is good, but what would you have done in his position? First game back at the club where you have excelled the most in your career, playing in front of thousands of adoring fans, at home, and you score the winning goal? Would you rather him of done a celebratory nose pick? He's French he has to do that kind of dramatic shit. Enjoy your sour grapes yer miserable bugger! That is all.

PS But I in no way justify that crap he pulled in the qualification in the last world cup.

Got to agree with KK. It was a third round game against a very ordinary team. The Arsenal fans like the Leeds team contributed little to the game until the goal, then went berserk when an ageing ex world class player scored from a one on one with the keeper.

Then Henry's celebration at full time, WTF! I didn't see any cup presentation, what was it all about.

*looks forward to Alan Clarke's return*

Kevin McCarra in the Guradian mentioned 11 Arsenal players in his match report including one who wasn't playing and one Leeds player (Lonegan) - as in 'Lonegan picked the ball out of the net.'

I have made my feelings clear to the editor.

LD - a job awaits you.
