I didn't watch it, heard the arrogance of Gerrard earler on the radio though basically suggesting we'd got qualification in the bag.

It was dire.

As FC said, control and passing the basic staple of the game was less than poor.

Whenever an England manager picks James (check back) Milner, you know they are after the draw.

The least creative England midfielder since Ray Wilkins.

We did well to get rid of him.

I'm not sure but was Hodgson playing Milner as a winger last night?

I think he was a wing back, that poor blighter who has to attack down the wing as well as nullify the threat from the opposing winger on that side.  Ukraine are supposedly well known for having great wingers and in fairness to Milner, if that's the case then he did his defensive duties very well.

It's a good result, I don't know what the criticism's for really, we're crap and we've been crap for ages, none of it is exactly a surprise.

Would have been a good night at the club last night if the bitter hadn't tasted like stale guinness.

Much twerking went on when goal 3 went in.

What a cunt, wonder if we would have a minutes silence for the innocent men, women and children we murdered whilst there.

End of dispatch.

Now that Rooney has actually scored from a free kick at the twentieth attempt i look forward to watching him hoof them over the bar in a Steven Gerrard style for the next five years.

The San Marino game was on live here, but the Estonia game wasn't.

Sounds like they did me a favo(u)r - I did quite enjoy watching the San Marino GK in particular. Not bad for an accountant.......

.....speaking of total amateur-types: I scored with a spectacularly spawny (even though I meant it, honest) volley from outside of the box yesterday in our 3-0 win over (mostly) Brazillian types from Woburn (we have a couple in our team from Colombia). *

It won't ever happen again, so I thought I'd let absolutely everyone on the planet know, because it's obvious how much you lot care about my burgeoning sixth-decade footballing career.

* We are now W5, D0, L1 on the ten game season and play the league leaders from North Andover (our one L) next week. Exciting or what? **

** What.

If "completely dumbfounded" counts, then yes.
