C'mon Codge. I am being a good lad and keeping to my word by staying out of the LU section. I'm not fouling that ground with my shit.

Two questions for you as a man I respect and who knows the club, it's history, and it's inner workings well:

Do you still consider Leeds United to be a serious competitive football club?

Do you believe that the club will ever again get into The Premiership?

WGAF

Of course they will get to the Premier League again.

Do you think every nag you back or like, or every jockey you admire, will go on forever, and will win?

Of course they will?????? I've obviously misunderstood the monumental altruism that LU have displayed to the other teams in their division by deliberately not getting promoted for the last eleven years in order to give other teams a chance. 18th in the division is a solid position to launch their upward trajectory of success from for the rest of the season. The lets-not-bother-winning-home-matches strategy of stealth before they unleash their winning streak will put the rest of the teams to sleep. It's fiendish in the planning. Ha Ha!

PS The racing analogy is totally irrelevant to this subject.

Anyway, enough about those bummers at Elland Road. North Ferriby won yesterday. *punches air*

As is this stirring you're trying to do

Notice clever lad that I didn't say 'when' Leeds will get back to the top flight.

My self-imposed embargo doesn't allow me to comment in the LU section but I would like to applaud Codge on the use of the name 'Cretino' to describe the LU owner. Ace!

New manager. Fifth in twelve months. Here's a pic of him on an earlier visit to ER this year. Classy. Veeeeeeeeery classy! A serious manager for a serious club.

It sadly shows what a few of the fickle Leeds 'fans' can do. A few boo's and you are out at ER. Who says the fans dont have power.

What a complete and utter shambolic state of affairs.

I know that! But a few boo's ringing in the codfathers ear might prompt him.

A lot of Leeds fans are as fickle as the next team and have very short memories. This bloke in charge is a knob head, with a history of being a knob head but I will say what I always say - who the hell has ever come in since Ridsdale buggered the club up with a serious and sensible offer to take over control of the club. Most have been mere 'I look good in the media' offers except for Uncle Ken of course who is just as nutty as this chap.

A fan buy out (whatever %'age it is) is a nice romantic notion but lacks the financial clout needed to build a team capable of promotion. Aside of the Man City model of massive a investment we need to look at the likes of Southampton, Bournemouth, Leicester et al plus maybe Brighton and see how they have paved their way to success.

Here we go again eh! I thought Mad Mass would give him a few more games.

Evans has a chequered history. I can see them falling out fairly quickly.

Attendance on Saturday was just over 22,000 with a fair few of those making their discontent known.

I feel sorry for both young players and young fans. It must be hard to commit to a club that has been badly run for so long.

Exactly - I am not looking forward to the January window.

My 16yo son has latched on to Chelsea like many of young kids latched on to that great Leeds side of years ago. I took him to the Ipswich match the other week. He's not for changing.

Leeds have a decent hard core of fans who will grumble a bit, shrug their shoulders then chat in length about their teams failings. However there are also the cheap ticket brigade in number at any match who seem to feel that shouting out loud their frustrations is the correct way to go about it.

My fascination with all things shit about LU is this: Just how bad do things have to get before people stop turning up and paying to watch them?

Papa Dock (Wakey not Haiti) told me on the phone last night that the new manager had been on tv and was blathering on about his shared nationality with players like Lorimer and Bremner. In case anybody, including the new manager, missed the memo: IT WAS FORTY YEARS AGO! STOP LIVING OFF OLD NAMES AND GAMES. ITS NOT RELEVANT TO ANYTHING IN THE HERE AND NOW. IT’S TACKY AND DESPERATE. STOP IT!

If I hear Step-Dad Dock say “Well, it wouldn’t have happened in Don Revie’s day” one more time I will fucking lose control and murder will be committed. It’s 2015. Not the 1960’s or 1970’s.

Actually, such shit DID happen in Don Revie's time, they brought Clough in as his replacement.

And Cellino's self incurred 'ban' on away support has already caused a few to pack in supporting.
