Cliton - is that a Freudian sleep or do you think she is a pussy

Good piece by Thomas Frank (see link). As in Britain with the Brexit vote it seems the complacent Democrat politicians and kingmakers monumentally underestimated the frustrations of American citizens. Maybe as alluded to in the article, this was the election that the Democrats fumbled rather than the one that Donald Trump won on his own merits. I personally don't even know what the policies of either campaign were due to them both spending too much time slagging each other off. Just an awful chapter in American political history if you ask me....I know you wont!

As for that clown becoming the President of the United States of America its too daft to laugh at. Not congressman, not Senator, but the fucking President!!!!!! And its not like The House or The Senate can block him as they did with Obama, The Republicans have got it sewn up with a majority in each. The VP is billed as a 'moderate' Conservative so lets see how it works out. Interesting times!

Here's the Thomas Frank article: https://www.theguardian.com/comme...te-house-hillary-clinton-liberals

Brexit?

Pah! Amateurs.

He might have won under the Republican banner but to all intents and purposes he's an independent aint he? The real republicans in the Legislative wing of goverment that seems to me to have the real power can still block any of his mad frog shit stuff.

The last few days have all been quite surreal and unbelievable for me. I cant get my head around the fact that he's the President. He's just a fucking rich lout. I cant flower it up any more than that. He has no grace or class. I think it will be one term only, and I think that if the masses of jobs that he has promised don't happen he'll be public enemy number one. I think for many of the dinenfranchised that have voted him in, they will just as quickly get rid of him if the big talk doesn't materialise into better lives for many American citizens. I've tried and tried to think of one redeeming feature that he has that would qualify him for office but I draw a blank everytime. What a cunt! Every time I hear his name I think of him mocking the disabled bloke he was talking about in that footage from earlier in the campaign. Its all just so bizarre.
Grind

I can't see it even lasting one term.

Bring back Bazzer!
Late Doors

Bazzer ?

A part of me wants him to do well. The promises he's making about giving back working class Americans their hopes and lives  by creating jobs for them. He's saying a lot of decent things amongst the heaps of shite he's uttering. If he fails then it's a victory for the status quo as we know it both there and here

Alas the first two things he's done is to take the first steps in undermining so called Obama care and the climate change agreement followed by announcing planes to build a wall between his country and their neighbours. Anyone who doesn't agree with the principle of the wealthier giving a bit more to keep the poorer healthier is a cad and a bounder in my book. Anyone who denies facts about climate change ditto as are people who build massive walls. If this is the only way that working class people can have decent lives we are all fucked.

Looks like the last president used up all the grace and class in the place. He had it in spades and dont anyone make a joke about that. I arent letting language pirates steal my natural lingo

edit
ahh Bazzer, Barack . *brushes flies off lapel*
Grind

I don't agree with everything he did, but it's hard not to like Bazzer - he seemed a genuinely decent bloke.

I can but hope (heh, heh), but there's not much about Trump that I find anything other than troubling.

I think I would be exactly the same had Clinton won too, but I'm developing mild Tourette's every time I hear him mentioned on the radio or TV.

Wanker. Wanker. Wanker.

Scares the fuck out of me. Doesn't seem to have any respect for women, minority groups, disabled people, immigrants, muslims, liberals, socialists, Mexicans, Canadians,  I could go on.

Given his short fuse, thin skin, and inability to take advice, I think he's a very dangerous man.

If he lasts two years, I expect him to invade at least one small country in Central America. Maybe El Salvador or Guatemala.

I hope Theresa's wearing her Tory party issue reinforced gusset serge drawers or carrying a can of mace, for her sake.

I offered her the FA Cup pants, but she said she's going commando in chief.

Saw Johnathan Powell on the tv this morning talking about the May-Trump meeting. He made some very astute points on trade and that the more that people use the phrase "Special Relationship", the more it weakens Britains hand as it sounds like we are desperate arse kissers.

Trump will do whatever suits Trump. The whole things fucked beyond all recognition.

So for years both Democrats and Republicans have like in this country) messed about with the voting system to suite themselves. To the extent that someone with a minority of the overall vote can come to power. So that's why a plonker gets in.

Yes his ideas on womens rights, abortion, the Mexican wall and 'maybe' immigration are a little bit niave to say the least and certainly not something I endorse or support BUT he is also trying to come over as one to put his country first and actually that is something I do applaud him for. Big business loves it for now (Dow Jones highest ever). He is saying fuck the rest of you we are a big enough nation to do things oursleves. We can't do that our economy isn't big enough any more (I read something the other day that Britain ceased to be a super power after Suez. before the world said the three super power - USA, Russia and Bris
Britain and after Suze just USA and Russia).

But you know he is right on some things. yet again the media being able to stir things up
Late Doors

He's doing the things he said he would do and that's what the people or at least the democratic majority (not the popular vote) voted him in for. Good to hear our prime minister standing up for our principles on torture after her special date with him

There is one fundamental flaw with his blocking of immigrants at point of entry - most the 'terrorist' attacks within USA have been instigated by people already living on US soil.
Cutsyke

The Dow Jones Index doubled under Obama. He inherited a shit show. To give Trump credit for the state of the stock market after less than two weeks is a bit of a stretch.

To be fair, with a few exceptions (boys named Sioux), they're all dodgy immigrants!

I hear he's had a spat with the Australian PM today.

It's certainly not dull.......

I don't like the way he tries to bully his own citizens, often single individuals, via Twitter. Total lack of class.

i know, fecking Twitter. I sometimes think im in some kind of dream when i dwell upon the President of the United States of America fucking Tweeting rants at night

Yes. That's it. A rich classless bully.

The tweet he sent out complaining about his daughter being dropped by Nordstrom was sent 20 minutes into his daily intelligence briefing. Priorities pretty clear.

This can't go on much longer. Watched him with yer man from Israel yesterday. Stood at the podium talking nonsensical rhubarb. Netanyahu was humouring him like you would with a dumb animal. I think he'll be out by summer.

I saw that as well FC. Defo bats in the belfry! I'll go 3/1 that there will be a headline this year:

TRUMP LEAVES OFFICE DUE TO MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES!
A source today confirmed that the president has had issues around failing memory and other cognitive impairment. Trump was initially accused of being a moron with a penchant for crass stupidity and minimal insight into world affairs, but through further medical inspection it has been confirmed that he's not the full ticket. Members of the National Security Agency and the CIA spirited Trump away from the White House in the dead of night "for his own good" a senior security staffer said. He will be "receiving all that he needs" in an undisclosed location somewhere "as far away from Washington as possible" the staffer continued with a jubilant smile, the latter we can only assume was a front for the sorrow he felt for the plight of the President.

All publicly available information from credible sources.

Given how much money they spent looking into Clinton's emails, I don't think it's too much to ask that an investigation be set up into Trump's business practices and relationships.
fartcatcher

He's banned the Daily Mail from his press conferences. The Daily Mail. The defender of British Conservatism. It does make you wonder.
Dock

Well it all seems to be going, er, swimmingly. The defining moment for me was that the dickhead press secretary would make a comment about Hitler on the same day that the global Jewish community celebrate Passover. Fuck me!
fartcatcher

Trump seems to be enjoying all this bombing stuff. More exciting than banning 'moozelummes' and keeping out those pesky Mexicans.

Next - North Korea?

I still shake my head in disbelief that he is President of the USA every time that i see him on the TV. Mad as a box of frogs thats for sure.

As long as he's not on the ZX Spectrum, the nuclear codes will be within his grasp once he's worked out how to load the cassette player.

I can't be arsed trying to list every fuck up this cretin has made since taking office but the recent nonconformity of the Paris Agreement and his idiotic mistaken comprehension of/ and subsequent attack of Sadiq Khan is starting to worry me. Its so odd that he is in the position he's in. Where will it end? Surely it can't go on much longer.

Little chance of Trump being chucked out YET. Republicans won't want to get rid of their leader even if they do want to deep down. Next year is mid term elections which might change the power in the Senate and could be Good Bye Mr Trump
