Wolves away

Thought it worth doing a little write up as many won't have seen the game.

Wolverhampton only an hour on the train from the land that time forgot. Unfortunately it's 2 hours 45 minutes coming back. Don't get me started on that. That's longer than it took my mate John the Weather to get there from Machynlleth!!!

Anyway - had a great seat near the front and close to the Wolves fans. Best atmosphere i've experienced at a game for a long time. Very open, and there could have been four more goals - most probably scored by Wolves though. Both teams applauded off at the end.

Entertaining game made more so by comedy defending from both teams. 4-3 was probably a fair result. When we went 3-1 down i thought we were in for a panning, but it was encouraging to see the team, led by Mowatt, taking the initiative and pulling the two goals back.
He really is f*cking good. Better than Delph or Howson at the same age I reckon. Just hope we can hang onto him. He's also better when we've got Antenucci up front making decoy runs and giving him a bit of space.
The real difference between the teams was in the forward line. Sako, Afobe and Dicko were all over our defenders. They ran at Wootton and Berardi constantly. Sako was incredibly quick, you just saw a blur, a breath of wind as he went past, and a white shirt forlornly chasing him.

Vast improvement on the Blackburn game. The error prone Bellusci, statuesque Morison and generally crap Austin weren't missed at all.

Bearing - if i'd had a few more interconnecting brain cells i'd have given you a ring to see if you wanted a Black Country mini regfest. Next time eh?
bearing

Aye, next time fella.
