Why....

Is the reception on my telly rubbish, is it something to do with all the rain bouncing off my skydish.

Not even one reply. Useless.

I was waiting for Bearing...but...

Have you checked all the wiring from the dish to the TV to make sure there are no breaks?

Have you checked with neighbours to see if they have similar problems?

i was under the impression that dishes needed a tweak once in a while to realign them (could be bollocks).

Do you have a normal aerial and what is the reception like through that?

Why would I bother doing all that when I can ask you lot on here, this is the techie bit of the forum after all.

Nah, didn't bother getting it put back up after when we had a new roof put on.

Well it is a process of elimination, if it is not too much trouble ask a neighbour, i mean, i can tell you that ours is fine but that is not going to help you.

My last bit of advice is, book some aerial specialist from somewhere to have a look, if there is no improvement, just fucking stick them for the money. Fuck them.

If you have any connections in your outside cables check them, the feckers taped mine up with normal bloody tape and tried to charge me to fix it when the joints corroded.
It's probably just the rain battering of your dish.

If the rain is reet hoofin' down and it gets better once the hoofin' rain has calmed a little then it's more than likely caused by gaseous absorption.

In other words the rain has soaked up all the signal.

Have you paid your bill?

That seemed to work for me.
