When Elvis Met The Beatles - radio play.

Was broadcast on BBC R2 last Bank Hol Monday, a fictitious play on when The Beatles and Brian Epstein visited Elvis and Colonel Tom Doodah at Elvis' Bel Air mansion.

Enjoyed it, and actually got quite excited when it started as Ringo Starr's voice came over the airwaves and I thought Wow, that is just like him, a superb impersonation' but it was actually supposed to be Lennon

Well worth a listen if you have any interest in the pop gods, probably still on iPlayer, I duOr YouTube.nno.

I've got fingers on my blisters!

Fan of both the Fab's and T'Elvis but will give it a miss. I'd imagine it's for die hard fans only. I'm out.

The Elvis actor was good, AND there was a bit of music in it too.  The Fab 4 impersonations weren't good though - they should have got Shaun Keaveney to do at least McCartney's voice, maybe Ringo's too. Forum Index -> Pump up the filter
