Tough weekend

I had to drop The Grindstress at the airport early on Saturday morning (she's in NY for a week-long trade show) and spent a couple of hours walking the dogs over the weekend, but I managed to watch all of (some on tape delay):-

Norwich v Newcastle
Fulham v Wigan
Villa v Southampton
QPR v Spurs
Man Yoo v Liverpool
Arsenal v Man City

as well as both AFC gridiron play-offs in their entirety:-

Ravens at Denver
Texans at New England

and most of the NFC play-off games:-

Spackers at SF
Seahawks at Atlanta

I'm fucking knackered, me.

* I think I may have blagged a ticket for the Ravens at the Pats this coming weekend too (basically the semifinal to get to the Superbowl). Sweeeeeet!

Tek mi cap off to you.

When Italian football was on Ch. 4 it was possible to watch something like ten hours of unbroken football on Sunday afternoon's / evening's / night.

English, Italian and Spanish, I miss those day's.

I'm an athlete, me.

Ha! AFC tickets in hand.

Not cheap though - $335 for a pair.

You could get a seat at the Emirates for that kind of money.

Indeed. It was quite telling that I was hitting the cocoa rather than the beer concessions.

If my neighbour is to be believed, it was 2F here last night (that's about -15C?)

Nothing worse than missing pants in cold weather.
