The Bridge

Already had one sries on BBC 4 and three episodes into series two.

It's the best thing on TV. It's a serial crime drama/thriller set in Sweden and Denmark. Chief characters are Saga Noren and Martin Rhode as a couple of detectives who work together on crimes that span Sweden and Norway, both series having a connection to the Oresund Bridge that connects the countries.

Realistic original characters throughout the cast, fantastic moody settings and a script and story line that defies prediction from the viewer.

Watch series one first if possible (it's out on box set) there are links to the second. Series two is available on BBC i Player.

mrs fc persuaded me to watch it. A bit like The Killing - the one with the female detective with a nice line in decorative knitwear.

Their very good at doing this gloomy stuff in Scandinavia.

That probably explains the programme imaginatively titled "The Bridge" made here (between the USA and Mexico), which was, well, a bit shit.

May have to check this out as i'm finding it hard to get into anything after BB.

I have travelled across this bridge once, it certainly is a big un!

If nothing else, it'll make him think twice before renting out another backdoor sexy fun time flick.

Definitely worth it, you'll need to download it somehow.
Forest

Don't want to spoil the ending but it gets blown up before the Japanese get to use it.

Started watching and has to be said that it is very good. The Swedish Detective bird adds to the watchability.
Into the 3rd episode and am wondering if she ever changes those brown leather trousers..
