Taboo

At last, summat worth watching on a Saturday night. I'm not one for period dramas but this is big budget and very intriguing. Tom Hardy plays the long lost son of a man who recently passed away and is back in London after years away. First episode on last Saturday, I think it's an eight-parter. Worth a look.

Have this on t' planner.
Frazier Cranium

It was good, slow starter but warming up nicely.
Grind

Just about to begin here.
Heyho

just watched it. It's got promise

Last episode coming up this weekend. I think it's been brilliant. Johnathan Pryce has been brilliant as the top man at the East India Company. The walking embodiment of greed and nastiness. Best series I've watched on the Beeb for ages!
Heyho

For once I totally agree with you Dock. One of the best series on telly at the moment. And yes Pryce is probably the best character in it for being so nasty.

Is that Neil Young I see with Robert Zimmerman?

Me n' her love this, dark and atmospheric, with a liberal dose of menace thrown in. The whole cast play it to perfection.

Would anyone like to know what I think will happen?

If it's the theory about extra terrestrials landing behind a mountain in America for a dance-off with Jean-Michel Jarre you're on the wrong track Sheepster. It's been done n' that. Too much of a plot tangent anyway.

Bugger

Well I thought that was a pretty good concluding episode. Great series!
Grind

Right. I'll start watching it then......

Think Tom Hardy's a good actor but I'm all Tom Hardy'd out. He's in everything. Bit like a post The Fugitive Tommy Lee Jones.

One of the best finale's I have seen, well don the beeb.
