Sweet tatties

Never been a big fan but they do make a change.

Anyway, try this.

Cut the spuds into 1" squares or thereabouts.

In a bowl large enough to accommodate the spuds pour enough olive oil to toss em in.

Add three tablespoons of honey.

Two tablespoons of Bouillon.

And lashings of pepper.

Mix it t' all up and add the spuds, turning to coat generously.

Pre heat oven and place spuds in a roasting tin in the centre of the oven.

Cook untill soft, or as you like em.

Nom.

The world has clearly gone mad.

Brexit...

Trump...

And now we've got sheeps proferring recipes involving not just potatoes, but sweet potatoes no less, which extends beyond chopping them up and chucking them in a deep fat fryer, to the addition of bouillon!

Bouillon!

Is gravy or curry sauce on chips no longer good enough for the people of Pontefract?

Not a huge fan of the sweet potato but will give it a whirl. Cheers.

it is here in France. As an aside, when I drive on the seafront road my radio occasionally retunes to a French station. I think it's an EU anti Brexit subliminal trick. #rings MI5

I've got a horrble feeling that he's now probably grown a beard, wears checked shirts, tight jeans and pointy-shoes, and aspires to holidaying in Hoxton.

He's probably also started paying a tenner for a bowl of Coco-Pops in a pop-up "caff" - "just because it's ironic!".

From "Beer & Sex & Chips`n`Gravy" to "Craft IPA & fond memories & roasted sweet potatoes `n` bouillon".

I  blame Thatcher.

It was Brexit.

Is that a trendy new cereal?
Grind
