That's the one I'm going to watch as well.

Watch out for that Peyton Manning fella throwing some fecking long passes to his wide receivers. Best QB in the league? Discuss.

P.S. Half-time entertainment: The Who. Ace!

Full coverage on BBC1 10:55PM - 4:00AM.

Probably the first time in nine months of unemployment that I'm glad I don't have to get up for work on Monday morning.

Foo Whiter

I hope the saints do it after Hurricane Katrina, which is suprising as i hate St Helens rugby league team with a passion.

That will be one hell of a packet of nuts to last that time Dock.
Dock

I'll pace myself with the snacks.

Re: St.Helens and New Orleans. Which one would you prefer to go on holiday to FooFoo?
Plastic Man

The major differences between New Orleans and St Helens?

I've been to New Orleans.
Foo Whiter

New Orleans everytime. I don't like wearing tracky bottoms with timberland boots to try & fit in with the locals.

Maybe you should buy one of those cardboard cut outs they used to have in pubs, full of nuts with the page 3 model on behind & save the money shot for last?

St. Helens just looks like it's been hit by a hurricane.
Dock

Spoke to Papa Dock today (Wakey not Haiti) and he's had a flutter on the Colts Austin Collie to score the first touchdown. Odd's 9-1. He hasn't had a bet on the points spread yet as William Hills don't have the prices yet. That is all.

Odd that, so have sky bought the HD stream or will they just be upscaling the same feed as the Beeb?

The Sky feed is definitely HD, in fact it's stunning. The American and Australian HD pictures are miles ahead of UK feeds which are not true HD. I guess Sky has exclusive rights to that feed tonight.

I know the US version displays 30/60 fps whereas us in Europe only use 25/50.

The pictures from US golf, The Australian Open tennis and the American football are simply breathtaking. What HD should be.

Smugness abounds.

Yes but Mol gets the best of both worlds, he gets the HD from the States but doesn't have to live there.

True.

What do you get?
Grind

And, don't forget,. Mol also gets the Superbowl a week early.

* Must be an ace package. *

Going to miss it now, knackered. These new pills are lethal, I'll be spark out in 10 minutes. Hope the Saints win.

That would be 11 minutes of the scheduled 60 minutes of play. Which in turn is typically stretched out over a period of 3 to 4 hours.

SAINTS WIN FIRST SUPERBOWL IN THEIR HISTORY.

Kin' didn't see that one coming. Good for them!
bearing

They'll be dive bombing and heavy petting on the streets of Orleans.
Foo Whiter

Is all that included on the stadium tour package?
Grind

I managed to stay awake - you puffs.
Exiledwhite

I tried to watch a re-run of the game on Sky earlier on tonight, I really did, but what a pile of horse shite that sport really is.

It just seems devoid of genuine passion from the fans. I say that because when I'm watching a game that I have a vested interest in and my team actually score, I go ballistic - like Joey Deacon tripping his tits off....

....I don't turn and give a half hearted high 5 to the nearest fat twat sat beside me then wardle of down to the nearest vendor to score another 14 hot-dogs.

Just a view.
Grind

It wasn't that great a game, although there was some serious strategic cunning shown in the start of the second half and at least one of the scoring catches was, well, ace.

You're right though, it's still shite.
Exiledwhite

I'm sure if I watched a few more games then I might get into but I seriously doubt it....

...The Who weren't too bad mind and that lass from American Factor / Idol thing - she'd be worth staying in for.
Pond Life

It's like baseball, a great sport to watch in the pub, short burst of action, then a period of nothing whilst you drink and chat.

I watched Baseball whilst my wife was in labour, the labour was more interesting.

What's she on with at the moment? Has she finished that pointing round the gable end. What's that?  I' don't care if it is fecking windy. Tell her to crack on. And if I hear her complain about iffy scaffolding clips once more she can collect her cards. FFS!

SCAFFOLD! FUCKING SCAFFOLD!

You know how to treat a bird don't ya ?
Dock

Frankly, yes. I also furnished her with some safety boots when she was doing that flagging. Well, not safety boots exactly, they were more of an open toe sandal but it's the thought that counts innit.
