Solar Eclipse

Did you see the coverage?

I went to the Total Eclipse in Cornwall in 1999 - the result of seeing a report on John Craven's Newsround when I was a kid and making a promise to myself to be there - and I also went to the annular eclipse in Scotland in 2003. Both were cloud affected - but the itch is there.

Planning a trip for a Totality that is achievable - maybe USA 21 August 2017 is possible, if I can get the lady wife onto an aeroplane!

Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the hea...,er soz wrong one.

*turns around*

He said Cornwall, not Wales.

Given what I supposedly "did" at University (when I wasn't sneaking off to watch Leeds) I should probably make an effort to see a proper one of these at some point too.

Maybe I'll (not) see you in 2017?
