Smoking Stuff

Not the funny green stuff you can put in rather large cigarettes!
A mate of mine has decided to start smoking his own meats.
He's made up some contraption that sends wood smoke through to his gas BBQ.
He's been smoking his own chicken and Fish.
He seems happy with the results so far and is going to do me some smoked spare ribs.
I will update as soon as i have had the pleasure of eating them.

Mrs FC's dad constructed his own kiln in the back garden for the same purpose. Most of the stuff he made was really nice. Except the kippers.

Not sure whether he had planning permission.
Heyho

jesus it must be too early. i had visions' even after i read the post' of someone slicing off a bity of turkey leg, wrapping it in a rizzla and setting fir eto it.

I need to get to be earlier.

There's something about smoke i find irresistible. Even back in the day i found smoke on a gals breath very alluring. Then there's the garden smoke you get when people are burning stuff, fantastic. Peat burning, coal burning all smack of good times so it's not surprising i love smoked tucker. Smoked cheese, bacon, kippers, mackerel any meat or fish in fact.

Is your mate hoping to do it commercially Badge?

It wasn't a question, just the lass smelling thing.

I have a picture of you rummaging in a lasses cig box for the smelly finger experience on the way home.

I've never heard it called a cig box before.

Anyway, shoulders back chests out. Best behaviour. Badge will go divvy when he finds his thread has been tangented more than a Billy Connolly routine.

spare ribs were very, smokey, tastefull and tender.
Looking forward to the Chicken that ive been promised.
No, LD, hes not doing it on a commercial scale. Just for mates. If they were sold commercially then i think that he could do a roaring trade as its superb stuff to eat!
