Slimfast

Never ever been on a diet before in my life but since Joseph came along I have done a bit more sofa warming than I usually would so with the dawn of the New Year I thought I'd cut down a bit on some stuff. Didn't have any alcohol for the first ten days of the year and cut down on my chocolate. The deal with Slimfast is a nutrition shake for breakfast and lunch, and then one proper meal at night. Lost four pounds so far, I'm aiming to lose ten. Anybody else cut down on owt for 2013?

Slimfast.

Funny enough WE  are on a cut back regime after a great xmas blow out. Never one for Diets mesen but cutting out all the usual shit, crisps, boredom/moral raisers at work like sweets. No pudding at tea time and no curry last two weekends but still training. Thinking of entering the tour de France at this rate.

Set myself two months to lose ten pounds but upped it to a stone. Deadline 2nd March. Two pounds to go and seven days to do it.

Getting down the stairs might be a bit of a challenge.

Take the chip of yer shoulder, Leeds hater.
Cuba

Eat less, eat better, don't eat too late, more water exercise more. That's all you need to do.
Late Doors

No mention of beer intake reduction. I like your style Dr Cuba   .

Doctor Doctor, my stomach seems to have placed a trade embargo on all American products.

I think you could have a severe case of CASTROenteritis. *

eat a lot of cucumber or melon. You consume more energy eating them than you get digesting them.

with the added bonus of getting the runs
Grind

And, when you do, you can use any uneaten cucumber to plug the hole.
Dock

One pound to go.
Late Doors

I'll have it.

Get fucked. It's Leeds fans who have the chip on their shoulder. They aren't happy unless they have to balance a few on each shoulder and a sack of spuds on their back at the same time just in case some of the chips fall off and they have to cut up some more to replace the ones that have fallen. Miserable whining knobbers!

I'll split it with yer. 50p each. Deal?
Dock

Done it. Weighed in at 11st 10lb this morning. Loss of 1 stone in two months. Target weight achieved two days before target deadline. Carrying on with diet for another couple of weeks though. End of dispatch.

We should now have a sweep on how long it will take for you to put it all back on.

Not so Grinder. Whilst I have been losing the weight it has been an education as to how much calorie fuelled shit I used to eat out of convenience. Yes I will get back into my bacon sarnies on a weekend etc. but I will always have an eye on how much I am eating from now on. I didn't really have to lose that much but I feel a lot better for it. Being a bit of an older new Dad I want to stick around as long as I can for my lad. Thats my main motivation.

I guess that's the key - getting thoroughly used to (and satiated by) smaller portions, sensible eating patterns and lobbing a bit of exercise in there for good measure every now and again.

It seems simple, but very few manage to do it.

That'll be the penny dropping in Sheeps brain now that he has finally realised the sun doesnt turn into the moon of an evening.
sheeps

Does so.
Grind

Well, you are basically looking at reflected sunlight, so everyone is right.
