Theres a nice one at Braithwaite, up on the hillside, the Coldale Inn, nice grub, roaring fire decent pop. I have stayed there in the past and its not a bad spot at all.

Dog and Gun is nice. Lake Road. That's on the way to the lake.

Don't forget to visit the pencil museum. That is if you like pencils.

The Tarmac Layers in Scammerton, the Heathersellers Arms in Robbingbeggar Overblow and the Thieving GBs in Caravanwick.

I'd suggest you give them all a miss, Mr Dock.

Thanks men, as usual you've given me loads to go on. FFS!

"The Twa Dogs Inn".

'The Trois Dog' or sommat along those lines. Hark at Mr Badger - or should that be Monsieur Blaireau?

"Le brasserrie trois blaireaux, près de Keswick? Et aussi, le viaduc Chappell est encore plus petit que mon pénis".

Here at the 'Twa Dogs Inn', we have our own car park...
smiling badger

Eye, up, bonjour! Thats the one, thank you Fin.

Have a look at the link and see the picture of the Fox crossed with a Badger. Was going to say that about it but then was thinking about it and trying to remember if i had really seen it or as i had said in my first post was i imagining it as i was under the influence.
Oh, yes it has a petit car park also, just right for our Dock.
Foo Whiter
