Probiotics

Apparently the probiotic stuff they put in Yoghurts and similar products was originally taken from the stomach of a bloke back in the eighties and has been farmed ( not sure what the terminology is) from this sample.

Probiotics not protein.

I've never quite grasped the concept of 'friendly' bacteria. Surely they are too far down the evolutionary scale.

Probiotics do work.
I had a bug last year, I thought I had got rid of it and it came back a week later. I had to go to the drop in centre who found a gut infection and prescribed a course of antibiotics, the antibiotics and the bug made me quite bloated my doctor told me to use one of the Yakult type drinks. Everything settled down in a couple of days.

The antibiotics kill all of the gut flora including the good bacteria that's why the probiotic helped.

You'd have thought by now that they would have invented a Charles Bronson antibiotic that only took out the bad guys.

Gut flora? Was that what Morrissey was really up to?

Nah, just know my probiotics.

Although men can also get thrush.  Remedy for that one is to dip the end in yoghurt, if you're doing it in Asda though make sure you're well hidden.

Comparing the two itchy fanny or annoying husband?
I would sooner have a full blown dose of thrush every time.

Always keep a supply of yoghurt handy, if you get snowed in again and you end up with an acidic environment you could up in trouble.

I'm always in trouble, but I don't think yoghurt is the answer I'm looking for.
