Not sure how it happened, but I like it

This was the closing music to the series Justified.

Me likey, even though I'm not usually a good ol' country (bluegrass?) boy.

Shows how little I know, apparently this is the original......

This is a decent version too...

Unbelievably, Justified has been dropped by Channel 5 and isn't being shown by anyone in the UK.

I'll wait till its on Netflix probably, hard to believe no station is looking to show it when most schedules are wall to wall shite.

I guess there are lots of "well that's probably not how it would happen" moments in it, but I do like the whole atmospherics and dangerous malevolent underclass undercurrent feel of the show.

The North isn't all lovey dovey by any measure once you get out of the more prosperous towns, but the South of the USA seems much more feral, for want of a better word, and "not quite right" to my sensibilities.

I've not seen the opening episode yet, but Fargo (featuring Martin Freeman of The Office fame along with Billy-Bob Thornton) looks like it will be a good watch.

Assuming you get to see it, like.
