Legs or breast.

Christmas dinner is only a couple of weeks away.
Will you have the traditional Christmas dinner or something different.

Here we will have the traditional dinner, i will cook the turkey and another joint as Sheeps moans about turkey. Christmas pudding and a cold dessert.
Probably smoked salmon for breakfast, not made my mind up about breakfast yet.

chicken for my tribe - less bother and tastier

I sort out the turkey, stuffing, gravy and roast potatoes (to feed about eight - for some reason the neighbours always think they're invited over, the twunts) and leave the devilish green and orangey vegetable nonsense to anyone else who can be arsed to do it.

Bollocks to desert - although I'd really like mince pies and Christmas pud, obviously.
Heyho

Turkey crown, joint of beef and a joint of pork for Christmas Day. All with the usual trimmings.

Then the remainders of the Turkey go into a cury for boxing day.
Forest

Turkey Crown and a large Ham with home made cranberry sauce. I already made the gravy last weekend and will be preparing the Xmas pud on Xmas eve, Jamie Oliver's recipe is fantastic.

I may have Peacock, or perhaps Boar.

If you decide to have the peacock please save me the feathers for my hat. Ta

You should put this in the ailments thread
Heyho

My old man always used to receive a cock and a hen pheasant off the Earl of Hardwood around this time of year. His advice to my old man was to hang em until maggots drop out. My mother hated maggots so she used to swap them for a large salmon with this scottish bloke who used to go poaching.

Crown for the kids. Slow roast pork for me and those that want it. Mrs K makes superb mince pies and does the pudding. Doing a community lunch for 70 in the morning then home to do our late lunch.
Dock

Last year I did Gammon as there was only me and Mrs. D's Dad out of the three of us who were meat eaters. This year at Mama Docks (no cooking duties for me just drinking n' that) and we are having turkey but only me and Step-Dad Dock will be eating the meat so it'll be a small turkey. We will be taking dessert and booze. I think if you get invited somewhere its respectful to take some kind of offering especially these days when is a bit TFD (too fucking dear).

Sounds like you'd better take some cold cuts so you've something to eat.

No need. I have some smack to see me through yet another re-run of Goldfinger. I love Christmas me.

Small turkey, isn't that a chicken?

I was being sarcastic, Turkey's by their very nature aren't small birds.

Ok....You could have just said sod off....

Butts

Doing a Turkey crown but I've ordered some rare breed Essex belly pork this year so that will be the star of the show - crackling and a hazlenut and apricot stuffing. Goose fat potatoes, mash, parsnips, red cabbage, sprouts and black pudding, carrots, bread sauce - going to spice up the cranberry sauce with some smoked chilli. Roasting some chicken bones and slow cooking red onions for the gravy.
