Freddie Fletcher, who played Jud in Kes was in that pub up in Beeston, not the whistle stop, another, nearer the ground i think. It was just before a Great Britain rugby international and my mate spotted him and said "eh up our Jud" to him. He was flummoxed that anyone recognised him and slightly flattered i think.
