Just popped in to see what's what

This forum was recommended to me by a fellow Itsagoal manager so I said I'd have a look.
Which is what I'm doing.
Right now.

(Bit complicated looking at first ain't it?)

What a pleasant surprise, have you ever seen Father Christmas?
Pond Life

Morning.

I sit opposite you on a train every morning and every morning i put my briefcase on the floor and it hits you in the shin and restricts your leg room. For the sake of the argument i'm a 20 something girl who is as fit anything and always smiles at you.

What stop do i get off at, please show workings out.

If you put butter on a cats back and throw it out of the window which way up will it land.

John Noakes or Simon Groom?

Just the once when I was young lad. Me mam took me to this big department store and we queued to get to see him. When it was our turn she made me sit on his knee. Scared stiff I was.
Butts

Hello PS, how's your Itsagoal season, so far    Any success from midfield

Where do you stand on Kenny Dalglish - should he go in the boys or girls section

Morning Mr Life

Hmm, tricky one.  The stop after mine?
(I'm rubbish at showing workings, always have been and always will be)

I would never do such a thing! (Oh alright then I would in the name of experimentation - after all, cats are evil) The last time I tried this the cat actually landed on its feet! Can you believe it?

Hi Butts

So far it's middling (as always). Are you an IAG manager then? I don't recognise your name from there.

On his head - it makes me look taller. Boys or girls section of what?

Hello Tank Girl

If I knew anything about football then I possibly would.

Welcome pleasantsurprise.

Do you kill slugs?

If so, what's your preferred method of execution?

No i've dabbled with it in the past but always lose interest when initial results go against me, which is usually by the end of August.

You seem to have been spared her wrath, for now.

I think it's because you are new.

Not a gardener then?

That's narrowed it down to just the six thousand and seventeen possible professions then.
Seal

Howdy PS if I may make so bold.

One has to ask new folk questions so:

what was your first gig?

what's your next one?

Hi Seal

To answer your question first.
I seem to recall it was a free concert headlining Wishbone Ash. It was held in a park in Hull just before they'd released their first album. It made quite an impression on me.

To answer Papa Jo: First album - can't remember. Next album - don't buy albums these days.

YOU ARE KIDDING Wishbone Ash, the band I've seen most other than certain Leeds bands.

Did you buy the first album? An absolute classic.

I lost all my records when an ex sold them all. The first one I replaced was Wishbone Ash and I payed well over the odds to get a mint, gatefold o-rig-inal. That learned her.

In fact I'm off to amazon now to see if I can get it.

Yep. Bought the first LP (and the next dozen - I've just been to the garage where all my LPs are, sadly, languishing, to count them)

pleasantsurprise, the albums have arrived.

Sometimes in the everday bussle of life you forget what's important. My relationship with WA is important (espec the early albums).

So, seriously, thanks pleasantsurprise it's much appreciated.

No probs Papa Jo.
But all I did was mention a name.
