Fleetwood

Never thought I'd get all excited about playing Fleetwood but tomorrows game could permanently cement us in a play off position and eventually get us back to the dizzy height of League 2 footie.

We're currently in 4th position looking over our shoulders at Kidderminster, York and Fleetwood as potential play off place rivals, a win tomorrow should take Fleetwood out of the equation.

Hopefully be celebrating a win with a proper fresh fish and chip dinner that Mr Ramsden would be proud of before heading back home for mucho vino.

The ownership of WFC's got my head spinning, after numerous prospective buyers staking an interest then dropping out looks like Ms Stephanie Booth will be taking hold of the reins along with the Wrexham Supporters Trust.  Any bid that involves the WST has my wholehearted backing.

A bit of background info on Ms Booth.

How does all this fit in with the rugby?

Sorry about the delay, 0-2 to frigging Hayes & Yeading last week and the disappointment of losing at Fleetwood sucked the football thred replies out of me.

Left the Fleetwood game at half time to find a boozer and fresh fried fish, game was at 0-0 with neither side looking like scoring so the fish and pint option won over.  Not that impressed with Fleetwood or us for that matter, Kidderminster will deffo make the play offs on the form they're showing at the moment and the solid performance they put in against us.

We've got Rushden on Saturday, sucker for punishment that I am I'm going in the forlorn hope that we kick start a mini run that keeps us in a play off position carrying the momentum in to the do or die games.  In reality I don't think we're good enough to get promotion, Kidderminster are nagging me especially when you consider they had 5 points deducted for untimely bookkeeping if I remember right, it was an administrative offence.

I fucking hate supporting Wrexham most of the time, unfortunately there's no other option.

Doomed.

Good luck Jones! Something keeps you going back

It is dreadful to watch something that you're committed to loving go through such traumas. I feel for you Jonesman.

Fucking Wrexham do it again, totally dominate Rushden 2-0 up with just over 10 minutes to go then we take 2 strikers off for lumpy defenders and invite Rushden to come at us.  We're not good enough to defend a 4-0 lead with 10 minutes to go, the consequence is that we'll probably have to go to Luton last game of the season to get a stab at the play offs.

A splendid day watching 80 minutes of good football in sweltering sunshine ruined by uninspired substitutions.  Irthlingborough's shite for pre match supping too.

Duw it's hard being a Wrexham fan.
