Not the news I expected to find in the RP when perusing the results from Chester today but R.I.P. Sir!

As a racing enthusiast I can confirm that contrary to what Mr Brown decree's in his popular music hit, every one is definitely NOT a winner!

*rips up betting slip*

You are a sexy thing though.

I liked the song EB did about Quasimodo.

This isn't going to get us the 2016 Grammy for Most Romantic Song Lyric Grind. Maybe we should find a new racket.

HAVE not of, you chav

Grind isn't a chav. Surely as somebody living in the Beeston area you would be nearer to meeting chav criteria. I was up around Colwyn and Tempest Road the other day. Fucking hell, I wouldn't even force Dock Dog to live around there. Rough as hoss muck!

Guilty as fuckity fuck.
Dalek

So you win again...

I wasn't really a fan of Hot Chocolate, but also didn't dislike them either.
Grind

I also like Cold Chocolate. *

Which seems appropriate, if somewhat insensitive.

* Cold Play? Not so much.
Grind

In my defends, everyfink seems to of gone pare-shaped sins I as gotten my Leeds CBS Cher sertifykate of off the intanets.

Snotty? Not me bud. You can only speak as you find, and if you think that part of Beeston I mention is not that bad, then you've got a warped sense of what passes as an ok area. My Dad was brought up in what was the last of what the historians call slums. Skelsey Row in Batley. No longer there. Not even working class, they were what you'd describe as working poor, my grandad scratching out a living with a days work here or there at different foundries and mills. A Hand to mouth existence. I'm not a class snob Codge, but I can spot an area where shifts in demographic influx have made them into complete toilets.

What the chuff is your point then, non snob?
Dock

Communication breakdown. My point is that that part of Dewsbury Road in Beeston is really rough. And because I make that point, it doesn't make me a snob.
Frazier Cranium

And please show me where I said a very poor area of Beeston 'passes' as anything.  I'm really sorry it hurts your sensibilities and that you're not being snotty at all by condemning anyone who lives round there, what are you trying to say to me?  That area has been one of the least affluent in Leeds for a long long time, well done for spotting it.  Who's to blame?

No but the way you spoke in your post certainly to me made you sound like one.

You are 100% right. I'm a total snob. I hope that the members of this forum find it in their hearts to forgive me. I knew I shouldn't have come back after coaxing on the last Fest. Years of posts on masses of subjects and people still don't grasp who you are. What a fucking waste of time!
Frazier Cranium

'I was up around Colwyn and Tempest Road the other day. Fucking hell, I wouldn't even force Dock Dog to live around there. Rough as hoss muck!'

were your words.  Linked to joking that I am a chav for living a few miles away from that area in Beeston.
Frazier Cranium

Still don't know what your point was but if it was all jokey then I'll beg your forgiveness.
Dock

Of course I don't think you're a chav Rob. It was a joke. Complete misunderstanding. A bit of a div maybe but not a chav. FFS, you've known me long enough to know I wouldn't think that.
Frazier Cranium

It is bloody horrible in certain areas around there, I can't disagree.  But it has been of 'lower standards' for generations 'below the Park' as Beestonites usually call it.

Some quality people I grew up with from that area though, black, white, Asian.  The location has always been where the council like to 'place' (dump) the poor in South Leeds too, for all my short life.

caught me at a bad time, Dock, misunderstanding and  overreaction R Me
Frazier Cranium

Gizza kiss.
