England

Going there in a couple of weeks.

Anything worth doing?
Pond Life

What bit you going to?
Grind

Green Park
Grind

I remember checking when I was given the dates and there doesn't seem to be much footie going on - even in that there London.

I'm then going briefly to Italy, but the only fixture of note there involves the Faroe Isles.
Grind

I'm only coming over to deliver the MOM trophy in person.

How long you in London for?

Looks like it's only effectively three days - 30/8 to 1/9.

I suspect I'll get roped into some obligatory crapola, but I was hoping to sneak off to a game.

Try Stratford upon Avon. Or Scotland.

A lot of Americans go there. And they can't be all wrong.

Well, not totally.

I might be able to get to Stratford, but there won't be any Avon under it.

Scotchland would be ace. Can I use my tube pass on the Northern line to go there?

You need to find somewhere ending in 'borough'

Like Middlesborrow or Shugborrow

What - you mean like Lugerbruger?
Grind

I was thinking of Corby.

Apparently it's all shiny, new and ace.

* Second choice: Basingstoke. *

Do they make trouser presses in Scotchland as well?

Possibly, but Corby is full of Glaswegians....

It is a most surreal town, pubs are either Rangers or Celtic...

Wear a baseball cap, red white and blue trainers with knee length beige socks, a flowery shirt, ultra baggy Bermuda shorts and 8 cameras in order to look inconspicuous.

And ask everyone if they've had tea with the Queen.
Grind

I'll see if I can bum a fag.

* Might have to take up smoking to avoid a good duffing. *

Make yourself popular with children and the ladies - bring plenty of chewing gum and nylon stockings with you.

Also bring some bananas. We've only seen pictures of them on the internet.
bearing

I've not even seen the pictures...
