Don Warrington off Rising Damp

Now as unlikely places to see a British Televisual institution such as DW go this would take some beating. I was parked up in the car park of the Co-Op in Chapel Allerton yesterday afternoon waiting for she-who-must-be-obeyed and who should walk out chatting with a lady carrying shopping, only one of the best characters from a British sitcom ever. He got into a very smart blue Mercedes C180 Kompressor and waited whilst the lady went and collected her/their child from somewhere. She returned just as we were driving off. No pic as A. I was in the car with Baby Dock and didnít want to leave him  B. I didnít want to intrude on Donís Sunday afternoon and C. Heís a big bloke who might have dealt me a bunch of fives for being a gonk who asks to take a pic on his mobile phone.

I know it sounds iffy but I know who I saw and that was Don Warrington AKA Phillip from Rising Damp. Iíll go with a slight point deduction for being a scaredy cat and not taking a pic. -23/10?

Don Cheadle would have been more impressive.

Warrington and Cheadle are both in Cheshire too.   They're towns, I don't know if the two Dons have ever met or worked together.

Don Caster the fictional actor who lives only in my imagination also has a town named after him.

Has he?  what is it then?

I think he means Don Caister on Sea, the fictional character that resides in Sheeps' head.

Good spot BTW. 7.89/10

Not 100% convinced about this but I'll give it a 7/10 anyway.

8/10

10 if you get Don Henley and Donald Sutherland as well.

Or Tim Wakefield (obscure MLB baseball pitcher) and Tim Dalton (obscure James Bond actor).

You'd have Henley-on-Tims then.

Ahh that's where you're wrong, the Cheadle you're thinking of is in Staffordshire.

Anyway, I'll give -6/10 Dock, a slight improvement on your usual paltry effort but still no photograhic evidence.
