David Bowie - Dead

It was announced today that David Bowie has died age 69.

A lot of music and many characters.

Ashes to ashes...

RIP David Bowie
Grind

Arguably the most innovative musician ever?

RIP Ziggy.
Grind

Don't listen to  Barbara Streisand's cover of "Life on Mars."

Bowie himself said it was totally minging. He wasn't wrong.

Late Doors

There can't be anyone anywhere who loves music who isn't saddened by this. A very special talent if not fully appreciated by everyone.
fartcatcher

Musical science fiction. Listening to one of his albums was like spending an hour in another world.
Heyho

Did he ever get offered an OBE or anything

Legend of the highest order.
Not a huge fan oh his material but still like it.
Dont think that there are any other musicians about today still that have had such an impact as he has.
Mcartney and Dylan maybe but cant think of any others.
Dock

I was putting some CDs back in their cases from the car today and placing them back on the shelves. Joseph Dock said: "Can I pick one to play?" I said course you can. At random he picked Aladdin Sane from the shelf. He looked at the cover intrigued and asked: "Is that Labyrinth Man?" I said yes. We then put it on and danced around together to the opening track 'Watch that Man'. He's only four.

And so it should.

My three all love Tamla Motown.
