Count Arthur Strong

I may have seen the future of British TV Comedy this week and frankly it is quite staggering. Not since the heyday of On the Buses have I witnessed such levels of comedic impact. Ben Elton these days would struggle to achieve such effect. Indeed Lenny Henry himself would have to strain every last drop out of his funny bones to achieve anything like this astonishing and shockingly unfunny pile of decomposed maggot ridden tripe.

Sounds good, I will give a try.

Especially as it has tripe in it.

Didn't know this was on TV, used to listen to his shows on Radio 4. In a word quite brilliant!

*yes, I know that's two*
Plastic Man

I have listened to this on Radio 4, but generally under sufferance.

I saw the merest hint of the trailer for the TV programme and quickly decided to avoid wherever possible.

One man's meat is another man's poison, life would be really dull if we all liked the same stuff.

I laughed like a drain at it.
Sir Bulldog Craggwood

Episode 4 were shit but episodes 1 2 and 3 were at times hilarious (imnsho)

a guilty pleasure in a Mrs Brown's boys way. The influence of Graham Linehan shows - I thought the Jack the Ripper tour ice cream van was very Father Ted

I think he is brilliant in a marmite /Harry Hill way. Rory Kinnear is a very good and very necessary straightman. I love the supporting characters like Bulent, John and the one legged russian pensioner lady

'kin'l I had no idea some of you lot were fans, you should have said something. I watched one where there was a riot going on outside. Is that supposed to be one the "funnier" ones? had me doing drain impressions as well. As in smelling great big rat

Strange really as I usually love Graham Linehan's stuff. Didn't realise he had anything to do with this. Mindst he prolly doesn't boast about it too much.
