Close to the Enemy.Written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff, who's usually pretty good.
It's set just after the war, and focuses on the attempts of rival Secret Service groups to find and gain control of ex-German officers. One group looking for war criminals and the other for potential scientists. Sub-plot developing about collusion between our Royal Family and the press, and Hitler's regime prior to the war.
Post-war London looks suitably gloomy. Casting and photography excellent.
