Frazier Cranium

Second series of adaptations of P G Wodehouse stories.  And it's on BBC1 on Sunday teatimes so the warning bells could definitely be ringing.  Except the first one last Sunday was great, I even laughed once!  Great cast and if 'upper class' buffoonery is your cup of Earl Grey then you should give Blandings a go.

The thinking man's Downton Abbey.

great cast - keep meaning to watch it
Plastic Man

I've  just watched this episode solely based on Mr Cranium's strong recommendation.

Not exactly laugh-out-loud funny, but a well constructed and acted farce.

Nice to see Harry Enfield back with a good performance.

Obviously all a bit tame compared to real life in the upper echelons of society viz  the EoO VII estate.

What to have a butler one could depend on.

I'll own up to having enjoyed reading P G Wodehouse as a nipper.

Much less rapey than Downton Abbey.
