BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2014

Saw bits of this and it seems that the BBC find it near on impossible not to turn something into twee shite. Complete knackers! Is it just me or does anybody else find watching Gary Lineker's smug countenance annoying?

Ok then. SPOTY. I'm not up on what the young set call it these days.

I'm sure we used to call it SHOITE.

Simpletons  obviously idiotic televisual entertainment?

Why is it called sports personaility, rather sports person, of the year?

A lot of the winners seem utterly bereft of any semblance of a vaguely interesting personality.

Good point well made. Lewis Hamilton always comes across as a bit wooden.

Nigel Mansell, who is bereft of any sort of personality, won it twice.

I'm glad the girl with the prominent teeth and a French name, who does line dancing with horses didn't win, anyway.

I think Hamilton edged it over McIlroy as he didn't dump his girlfriend by text.

Agreed, that wasn't very sporting.
