Barcelona, Geneva, or Pisa?

I want a 4-5 five day break next month, treat myself. The three above are quite cheap with Jet2 now. Anyone been there or recommend somewhere else in Europe? I'm going on my own so want somewhere interesting with lots to see, museums, architecture, history etc. Greece is to hot for me this time of year.

Geneva good, lots of things to do rather than just getting pissed.

Cheers. That's the plan. Amsterdam is 5 return but don't want that. Checking Geneva accommodation now. Bit of culture, plenty to see, somewhere I won't stand out as a singleton is what I'm after. Any other suggestions Reg? Budget tight but not tiny, I have the money for the right location. I don't mind hosteling or roughing it a bit either. Would do the UK too but it's so bloody expensive.
From Monday, I'm putting the money I previously wasted elsewhere in a fund to get me to Easter Island and The Galapagos late next year. Coming home via friends and family in New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Moscow, New York and California. Life's for the living, I've been dead too long.

Good God, so are the hotels.
But got this http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel...es-portes-de-geneve-gaillard.aspx and flights for 320 all in.

As Mr Bezster suggests, Kefalonia is a lovely island, but from memory, it is rather limited with respect to cheap flights.

Incidentally, Eddie is thinking about visiting Amsterdam with his cousin and her children. He would be grateful for any recommendations regarding reasonably priced hotel accommodation suitable for families.

Only ever done the 'Dam on boys trips so can't help there, but Jet2 flights are very cheap till Monday.

Deffo Pisa Mol. Cheap hotels, nice place but the biggest bonus is the frequent cheap trains. Three great days out possible in Sienna. Florence and Lucca. Pisa itself is fine as well.

Geneva already booked but I will check out Pisa in August/September. It's been too long since I've been to Italy, I love the place.

I'm surprised Barelona fell off the radar. Far more to offer than the other two put together i reckon. Nicely positioned for coast and mountains, food, culture etc. Also handy for Girona, Figueres, Costa Brava, Andorra, Tarragona.
I was in Pisa the other week. It's a day trip at most and that tower's a bit scary. Geneva will batter your savings. Visca Barca!

Never been to Switzerland so Geneva goes ahead. But I will definitely check the other two out later this year. Any interesting UK locations? As before, don't mind camping or hosteling it.

So much for Geneva. Went to the doctors for a review and bang! Blood oxygen levels dangerously low, forget about flying anywhere. Straight off to hospital for blood tests. Massive course of killer steroids and anti-biotics to be taken, again. I have to go back to hospital on Monday and Tuesday too. Looks like Dublin pre-season fucked and all. Is life just fucking marvellous!

It has a lovely airport cafe does Pisa. Nice outside seating bit with a splendid shrubbery. Don't forgot to pay for everything first and then go collect it somewhere else. (Bit like Argos)
