Anyone on here either know or remember.....

I tried this elsewhere, but with no luck, soooo.....

I suspect the following could easily be answered very quickly by looking in some programmes from later in the respective seasons, but I don't have them to hand and was wondering if any of you know which kit(s) were worn at:-

Sunderland (A) LC R2 L1 21/9/93
Oxford United (A) FAC R4 29/1/94
Mansfield Town (A) LC R2 L2 4/10/94

I know I went to two of the games (Mansfield turned out to be a bloody trek, if I remember rightly), but probably had too much pop to remember....

I don't believe the yellow/blue kit was worn for a "proper" first team game in the 94/95 season.

It was probably worn in some preseason, friendly, bobbins tournament or testimonial games (there is an image of Carlton Palmer in one - he didn't join until after the 93/94 season had ended), but they don't count, at least for my purposes.

My best guesses would be:

Sunderland (A) LC R2 L1 21/9/93 - 99% Yellow/Blue, since we wore this kit at Southampton and Sheffield United.
Oxford United (A) FAC R4 29/1/94 - Probably Green/Blue, but with White as a very small possibility, since Oxford's home kit was yellow. *
Mansfield Town (A) LC R2 L2 4/10/94 - As Oxford, for same logical reasons.

So, does anyone know for sure?

* Just noticed that the Mansfield 94/95 kit is yellow with a sort of bluey/black stripe - so our white kit would make the most sense?

That said, I don't really see why we chose to wear any sort of striped kit against Southampton and Sheffield United.

Soz for trespassing. If the Sunderland away was when the LC was the Coca Cola Cup I think I was there. Think it might have been when Admiral sponsored us. Couldn't say for sure. I hope this was of assistance. But I'm guessing not n' that.

It will be the Asics era - unless something very strange happened, we would either have worn the yellow/blue vertical stripey things or our "home" white kit with the horizontal stripey thing.

Pretty sure it would have been the yellow/blue, but can't find any images or video to back this theory up.

I'm doing a bit of "player shirt research" and am hoping to rule out these games to confirm the usage for a couple I'm thinking of acquiring/buying.

That would have been the logical choice.
