I'll own up to quite liking them - I've got that album Somewhere in My iThingy.
Might play it when I go "fix" the patio later on.
One of my favourite bands ever, saw them at St Georges Hall Bradford years ago on the 'Stray' tour. There was no support act but Frame came out and played acoustic versions of all the old stuff, just brilliant, gig with the full band was a bit of an anti climax after that.
Haven't played Surf in ages, gonna do that now
Was never into them at the time. He knew too many chords for me, tricky ones using the little finger, like a jazzist might use. Therefore he couldn't be trusted. My mate played his stuff all the time which was another bad sign. Also he had that clean cut sub James Dean look and seemed too nice.
If he was starting now I'd probably like him.
Picked up a Greatest Hits album at my local Oxfam shop (£2.99) a few months ago and was presently surprised.
Possibly a bit too clever for his own good though.
I didn't realise AC were so revered. I just know that 'Somewhere in my Heart" song which is none too shabby IMHO. A fine pop song. I will have a look at the album.
Just been listening to the Greatest Hits.
It's annoying that one person can be good at writing songs, playing the guitar and singing.
