Andy Murray

Miserable git.

If anyone can find a picture of him smiling, I'll buy them a pint.
Probably

bearing

Cider please
Plastic Man

It was quite a challenge.

There again, he might simply be suffering from wind.
bearing

He doesn't like to smile on camera, I'm with him on that
Carp

Looks like he has had his teeth straightened. Shame he didn't get the eyes done.
fartcatcher

those are rubbish. First one is more like a sneer, second is just wind.

I'm looking for something joyous and life affirming.

Even when he wins he looks feckin' pissed off. The Nick Faldo of tennis.

Next time Wimbledon is rained off, they ought to sit him in the middle of the court and people will parade in front of him and try and make him laugh.
Fin

Heres one i just had lying about

No, Scottish.
Late Doors

I should coco clacks. after his recent Queens victory, my gawd, he could almost qualify as English

Come on Andy, indeed
Tank Girl

i dont think hes got a hope.
couple of years ago i did, but now i dont.
i really thought at one point he was good enough, but i think now he hasnt got the head for it and you have to think that really, he's never going to get that.
there are three people who are better than him and nadal is like a machine at the moment.
fartcatcher

Mummy's boy.

She still travels everywhere with him and watches every game. That's not good when you're 25.
geoff_bell

lovely. milky. milky.
Butts

For a minute there... still time though
Tank Girl

i am not even watching it but come on butts, dont be daft.

Call it delusion or wishful thinking, guilty as charged.
fartcatcher

Hard luck Tim - er - I mean Andy
Late Doors

There was a point early in the second set that was pivotal. Watched it in the shoulder yesterday so the olb memory has been rinsed since but it looked like he could have broken through and who knows what might have happened. He just crumbled from then on, made all the wrong decisions and just didnít apply any discipline. Semi Final again though, cant complain.

Oh bad luck to the plucky Scotch man

grunt

Scotchland's shame

That was a weird match. Murray looked great for that set and a bit, and seemed to have the measure of Nadal, then after that easy miss he was pants. Not sure if Nadal tweaked his game a bit or whether Murray just lost it in the head department or both.

I'm given to understand by my scotch acquaintances that sometimes a sudden, unexpected craving for a deep-fried Mars bar overwhelms all rational thoughts and behaviour.

They have to be careful to keep their sugar and fat levels at a constant high to dangerous level so they don't suffer with the 'afternoon slump', or diabetic coma as less hardy non-scotchers experience it.

Late Doors

That gurning still scum twat in the crowd almost made me want him to lose,

Fantastic come back by our Brit Boy Andy. Now go and win it son.
sheeps

On this showing he will struggle to beat Djokovic, if he gets that far.

Here's hoping.

Agree
sheeps

Well he did it!

Three sets looks a comfortable win but it was nip and tuck all the way. Both gave their all but Murray won the important points. Well done Murray, how he refrained from mentioning his nationality I shall never know.

Just seen the bloke on the news, to his immense credit he did ask, does winning a sporting competition deserve a Knighthood?

I'm liking him more.
grunt

He's spoiled it by colluding in a shameless Cameron photo opportunity. Now I subconciously equate M's glorious achievement with the Tory party and will vote accordingly.
Late Doors

And what a bell end Salmond made himself out to be waving that flag.

Still, the lad did it and i was so pleased for him and his mob. Those scrambles to get to the drop shots were superhuman. Now the monkey is off his back he could win it again and again perhaps

I do wonder how big the chip is on his shoulder, a desperate attempt to add a bit of nationalism onto the coat tails of Murray.  I'm not a fan of Murray but I'm impressed by the way outwardly he's dropped the Nationalistic streak he seemed to have a few years ago, just a shame the leader of his country is still acting like a spoilt teenager.

Blair started all that tosh, inviting celebrities and sports persons to no. 10.

Success by association, cunt.
fartcatcher

There was a time when you had to win a fucking war to get a knighthood, not a tennis match.
