Have I ever mentioned how much I love Stewart Lee? This time at the York Barbican. Criminal axed by the BBC probably to save money for the Are You being Served spectacle they put on last year but more likely out of pure spite with him having a go at their friends. Bollox to 'em anyway.. He is just too good and too loved now to let that harm him. And you won't find him hawking is arse to Sky either

The show was called Content Provider loosely based around a panting by Caspar David Friedrich called  'Wanderer Above a Sea of Fog. The fog being the digital world we live in. Packed full of all his trademark techniques of Audience mocking, self mocking,  disdain for the young (anyone under 40) left wing liberal elite politics and a merciless lambasting of his fellow comics and assorted pricks from the world of media. He is savage, thought provoking, theatrical, across everything and tearfully funny. I confessed to MrsD that I'm a little bit in love with him. Its alright to be she said

The structure of his set as ever was meticulously planned and finely honed. His silences are as funny as his forays into surreal but immediately recognisable monologues are. He can do detail to excruciating Nth degree and broad brush generalisations with equal clarity and panache. Just a wonderful master of his crafty and the funniest man alive for me

Perhaps she's hoping for a threesome?

Perhaps she's relieved that LD is waving his fuckstick at somebody else for a change. Poor woman.
