2 more new ones to add to the endless list of new pubs in Leeds city centre, bit out of the way at the minute but it's a part of Leeds that's taking off. Both on North Street a couple of minutes from The Belgrave

He's from Kirklees. He'd be kissing the dog's arse.

Called in the Brunswick Thursday tea time and yeah nice place. Only me in like compared to the brew dog place that I passed on the way which had a fair few young uns in

One of the partners who owned the Brunswick was having some pasta behind the bar but we had a chat between mouthfuls.
Some good ales on. A Saltair, two bad seed, Manchester bitter from marble, Kirkstall and another. I had a bad seed APA, 3.80, a tad expensive but enjoyable

The place is about the same size as the duck and drake back room, quite small but also had an upstairs area. The decor was wood themed, bare walls and utility fittings running around as is the trend these days and the music was a good eclectic mix with gang of four's anthrax thrown in. A bit of a trek out of town but a good addition to that northern quarter area. Food looked interesting as well judging by the menu, not your average pub grub. Thanks for the tip off Foz
