My mate Phil was incandescent with rage at Beckford's performance for Leicester last week. 'A disgrace to football, not just the club'

All the traits we know and love are still there: lack of commitment, half hearted challenges, falling over, moaning at everyone and waving his arms about like a drunk trying to hail a taxi.
I'm not sure whether the gloves have come out the locker yet.

It goes without saying that he will score against us.

Our new goalie has a promising CV and will surely be selected in a game that is being played on Sunday because of a fixture clash with the rugger buggers.

Leicester, like us, started the season with high hopes. Sven and his new signings have failed to deliver. Still without a manager, their form is as erratic as ours. A 0-0 draw looks unlikely.

What a great goal, and not his first either.

Is it too early to proclaim Clayton player of the season? Admittedly I've only seen him play on telly but he seems to be a cut above everyone else. If Howson was to fulfil his potential what a midfield we'd have.

Reports from mates are that Clayton wasn't that good, that Howson was poor and that the problems are still there.  A win against a team struggling more than us, but we had two 46 yr old centre halves playing  Andy O'Brien played well I'm told.

Can't really knock them for winning on the back of a humiliation of nil five, but there are still problems in the team that need addressing, so I' hear.  Snoddy looks fooked too, maybe on painkilling injections as he was holding his back a lot in the game.
