Autobiography by the New Order frontman. Interesting read right from page one. A treat for any Joy Division/ NO fan. Including great anecdotes about the wonderful shamblolic business practices of Factory Records and all the main players in the story including Legendary manager Rob Gretton and Tony Wilson. The like of which left this reader wondering how the records even made it on to shop shelves. But make it on to the shelves they did thank god. The in-band squabbles of the last few years didnt really pique my interest when they were happening but BS offers up the whole sad story in a factual and surprisingly objective account of the way in which himself, Gillian, and Stephen parted company with Hooky.

The reason you have a pile of stuff to read is you're never fucking in to read owt. You live on that Trans-Pennine. Take time out lad! And all this going out of the house and coming back again must be putting some wear and tear on the electric gates. Stop it!
